Sharon Kay (Clark) Armentrout

Sharon Kay (Clark) Armentrout, 70, wife of Alan Wayne Armentrout, of Staunton, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at her residence. Mrs. Armentrout was born in Staunton, Virginia on April 2, 1956, a daughter of the late Jonas Franklin Clark, Jr. and Iva Lois (Huntley) Clark. Sharon was an active member of Annex Fellowship Church where she taught children’s Sunday School. She enjoyed picnics and was also an animal lover. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Ann (Clark) Quick and her brother-in-law, Gary C. Quick. Sharon is survived by a nephew, Gary C. Quick, II of Staunton; a niece, Christie Jackson, and a special friend, Belva Clarke. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Russell Heinrich. Family will receive friends following the service.
