Brenda "Aunt Bb" Sue Wisecarver

Brenda Sue “Aunt BB” Wisecarver, 64, of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center. Brenda was born in Winchester, VA on May 12, 1961, a daughter of the late Oliver Love and Sarah Josephine Hockman Wisecarver. She worked for many years at IAC in Strasburg, VA, and loved her games and puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, Terry Wisecarver, Gary Wisecarver, Jeannetta Stickley, Sharon Peacemaker, Denise Huffman, Kimberly Wisecarver, and her beloved dog, Black Raven 12. Brenda is survived by her longtime significant other, William “Bill” Funk; her siblings Darline Wisecarver, Pamela Haynes, and Oliver Wisecarver, Jr. along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service for Brenda will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday 4, 2026 at Stover Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Funk Family Cemetery in Fort Valley, VA. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday one hour prior to the service.
