Albert "Lee" Stearn
Albert "Lee" Stearn, 77, of Rockingham, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born on April 13, 1948, and was the son of the late Richard Charles Moyers and Alice Katherine "Kat" Hensley Stearn.
Lee was a truck driver for many years, working for Ray Car Tires and later finishing his career with Riddleberger Brothers. In his younger days, he had a passion for speed and racing, but over time he came to enjoy trucking and fishing just as much. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Lee is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Debbie Kelley; his sister-in-law, Ruth Irene (Ritchie) Stearn; his sisters, Judy (Larry) Dove of Texas and Joyce Knicely of Lacey Springs; and his nieces and nephews, Jeffery (Jeri) Stearn, Ronald Stearn, Melissa (Sherrie) Holman, Charles (Sherry) Braithwaite, and Denise Spitler, all of Harrisonburg; Shannon and Crystal Knicely of Lacey Springs; David Dove of Texas; and Vickie Dove of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved dog, Dozer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Hip" Stearn, and his niece, Karen Dove Richardson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Victory Fellowship Church in Dayton, VA with Pastor Sonny Henkel officiating. The family will receive friends following the service from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Lee will be remembered for his love of the open road, his loyalty, and the time he cherished with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
