Rodger Via

Rodger Lee Via, passed away at his home, Wednesday morning, February 11, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina, after a long battle with his health. He was born June 25, 1943, in Waynesboro, Viriginia. Rodger attended Waynesboro High School, class of 1961. He was the son of the late Vincent and Beulah Wright Via.

Along with his parents, Rodger is preceded in death by his infant son, David Wayne Via, his brother, Vincent “Rudy” Via, nephew, Anthony Kent Via, and niece, Brenda Via.

Rodger was a hard-working husband, son, and father. He worked in sales and was the General Manager and President of two Anheuser Busch distributorships in North Carolina. Changing careers, and following in his father’s footsteps as a printer, Rodger bought Graphic Master Printing in 1995 and was the owner for 21 years before he retired in 2016. His sons Chris and Danny also helped run the family business. Rodger enjoyed going to the beach, spending time with family, and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 61 years, Judy Breeden Via; his children, Chris Via (Pam), Cyndi Beaman (Billy), and Danny Via (Samantha); his grandchildren, Lauren Beaman (Jake), Elaina Finegan (Jack), Caleb Via (Kiley), Meredith Beaman (Thomas), Seth Via, Vera Via, and Matthew Beaman. Rodger said on many occasions, how proud he was of his family and their accomplishments.

The family will receive friends and family for visitation from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Saturday February 21, 2026, at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, Va. 22939. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, followed be a private graveside service.
