Patricia Joyce (Leonard) Stanley

Patricia Joyce (Leonard) Stanley, 81, widow of Alfred N. Stanley, Jr., of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
She was born on November 29, 1944 in Galax, Virginia, a daughter of the late Hilton Curtis and Georgene (Hamilton) Leonard.
Joyce found so much happiness spending time with her grandkids, reading her bible and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristin Heather Stanley and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Leonard.
She is survived by a grandson, Drew T. Stanley and his wife Liz; four great-grandchildren, Oakley Stanley, Ella Stanley, Tobias Stanley, and Huntley Stanley; two brothers, Randall Leonard and his wife, Audrey and Roger Leonard and his wife, Eunice; three sisters, Sandra Leonard-Chappell and her husband, Richard, Karen (Leonard) Ferguson and her husband, David, and Mary (Leonard) Boyer and her husband, Steve; and a number of nieces and nephews. 
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Destiny Family Center in Stuarts Draft by Pastor Chuck Balsamo.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
