Leona Frances “Franny” Price Wampler, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation in Staunton.She was born on July 5, 1945, in Augusta County to the late Guy Franklin and Margaret Pearl Armstrong Price.Leona found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed playing bingo, working on puzzles, and spending countless hours crocheting and knitting. Above all else, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored.She is survived by her son, William Franklin Dellinger and his wife, Rebecca Jane Lovelace; her sisters, Aurdrey Bradshaw and Edna Moats; her grandchildren, Heather Harris, Anna, Dakota, and Kristina Gardner; Willow Jade Adkins, and Sylas Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald F. Price, Lawrence “Buzzy” A. Price, and Charles Price; her stepfather, Virgil Varner.At this time there are no services to announce.Henry Funeral is entrusted with the arrangements.
