Rebecca "Becky" Whitesell Kidd

Rebecca “Becky” “MawMaw” (Whitesell) Kidd, 53, wife of Michael “Mike” “PawPaw” Kidd of Waynesboro, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Kidd was born in Waynesboro, Virginia, on January 19, 1972, a daughter of Sondra Ann (Keyser) Whitesell and the late Ward Gay Whitesell.
Becky enjoyed hunting and fishing, traveling, flowers, antiquing, and thrifting. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and took great pride in watching her grandchildren race.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 15 years is a son, Cody “Buck” Cline; a daughter, Somere “Pookie” Cline; four grandchildren, Adalynn “Birdie Lou”, Levi “Sprocket”, Jenson “Bobo”, and Brixley “Lil Heifer”, her furry friends, “Scarlet Rose”, “Zayda Mae”, “Marlin Gay” and “Ruger Wayne.”
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory. 
     A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2025 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Earl Monroe. 
     The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Faith Christian Church (Stuarts Draft VFW Post 9339), 3251 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft, Virginia 24477. 
     Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
