Rosemary Taylor Shaw

Rosemary Taylor Shaw, 81, widow of Gary Spencer Shaw, of Fishersville passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab.
Mrs. Shaw was born in San Diego, California on March 4, 1944, daughter of the late Azzie Taylor.
Rosemary retired after many years of service as a school bus driver for Staunton City Public Schools and Augusta County Public Schools. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and lived her faith through service, being deeply involved in MAPS, an organization dedicated to building churches in communities across the United States. Rosemary enjoyed traveling and cherished seeing new places, especially when it allowed her to connect with others. Above all, her life was guided by her deep faith and her love for family, which were always her greatest priorities.
In addition to her mother and husband, Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by a daughter, Mia Ralston; a son, Duane Shaw; and her brother who raised her, Donnie Taylor.
Surviving, are three children, Shannon Shaw and his wife, Stefanie, Korena Martin, and Teela Hardin and her husband, James; a daughter-in-law, Samantha Shaw; a son-in- law, David Ralston; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Whitesell.
Burial will follow in Pleasant View Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
