A Tribute to Marie
Proverbs 17:6 reminds us: “Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their parents.”Marie embodied this truth. Her joy was magnified in the presence of her grandchildren, who were her crown and delight. The warmth of her smile could brighten even the darkest of nights, a reflection of the love she carried in her heart.
Proverbs 31:31 declares: “Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”Marie’s hands were never idle—they were hands of service, of care, of love. Whether through the meals she prepared, the prayers she lifted, or the gentle guidance she offered, her works spoke louder than words. Today, we honor her not only for what she did, but for who she was: a faithful servant of Christ, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a cherished friend.
Though her passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, we take comfort in knowing that Marie is with the Lord Jesus Christ. Her faith has become sight, and her earthly labors have given way to eternal rest.
Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, in the family she nurtured, and in the love she gave so freely. May we carry forward her example of devotion, kindness, and faith, so that her works continue to bring praise—not only at the city gate, but in our hearts forever.
