Jacqueline Lee Sprinkle

Jacqueline Lee Sprinkle, 84, of Bridgewater, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Bridgewater Home, after a prolonged illness.

She was born on May 9, 1941, in Bedford, VA, and was the daughter of the late John and Vera (Lee) Leftwich. She loved music from an early age, playing the piano at Suck Spring Baptist Church and Grace Memorial Church. She graduated from Piedmont Bible College in 1963 with a degree in Music.

Jacqueline was united in marriage to Lloyd Sprinkle on August 18, 1963. After marriage, she moved to Harrisonburg, VA, where she faithfully supported Lloyd in the ministry.

She played the piano and organ throughout his ministry as pastor of Providence Baptist Church. She also taught piano lessons at Blue Ridge Christian School, and privately as well. She touched many lives with her music and inspired many to careers in ministry and music. She was passionate about sharing the gospel worldwide through Sprinkle Publications, which they founded and owned. She was also deeply involved in the Daughters of the Confederacy and Daughters of the Revolution.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd T. Sprinkle, on September 26, 2019.

She is survived by her brother, John Leftwich, and his wife, Diane, of Bedford, as well as a sister in law, Betty Roadcap, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Mount Crawford Cemetery, with Pastor Andy Rice officiating.
