Jesse T. Little

CHURCHVILLE – Jesse Thomas Little, Jr., 77, formerly of Suffolk, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025.

Jesse was born in Portsmouth on November 28, 1947 and was the son of the late Jesse Thomas Little and Helen Idell (Bond) Little Zerkle. He was a skilled transmission technician in the Tidewater area prior to retirement. He was an avid fan of racing and loved race-car mechanics, Jesse was also a self-taught artist who painted many lovely pieces that his family and friends will treasure.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maria Anne Elizabeth (Owens) Little; his son, Jesse Thomas “Tommy” Little III; and a sister, Mary Pires. Survivors include one great-nephew, Paul Barnikow and wife Debbie, with whom he made his home; and a number of cousins.

A graveside service will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, November 6 in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
