Born on November 20, 1979, in Charlottesville, Larry was a vibrant presence whose energy and humor left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Known for his infectious laughter and magnetic personality, he was truly the life of the party—someone who could light up any room with his wit and charm.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his three daughters, Adriana Renee Wells, Aleesha Danielle Wells, Amya Nichelle Wells, son, Antonio Marcus Wells, their mother Kim Wells, and grandson, Aiden Jordan Wells. He also shared a close bond with his mother, Mildred Lovette Burton; sister Margo Burton-Jones (Arthur “LJ” Jones); brothers Ronald Burton and Cosby Burton (Beverly Flowers). Nieces and nephews, Trevon, Ja’Quez, Ja’Niece, Ja’Quan, Alaja, Desmond, Adeen and Summer-Blu. A special niece, Malaia, with whom he shared a particularly special connection.

Larry’s extended family included beloved aunts, Shirley Burton and Marietta Burton; Uncle Anthony Burton; and a cousin who was more like a brother to him, Chris "Booda" Anderson. A special friend, Kara, who stayed by his side during his illness. Larry will also be deeply missed by his work family at Priority Transport where he worked for last 4 years.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arthur Burton, grandmother, Shirley “Titty” Burton and uncles, Antonio “Tony” Burton and Arthur “Deeba” Burton.

A passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Larry never missed an opportunity to cheer on his team. His love for music spanned all genres, though he held a special place in his heart for Wu-Tang Clan. Whether it was blasting classic tracks or discovering new sounds, music was always part of Larry’s world.

He found joy in traveling and spending time with family—moments that brought him peace and happiness. Larry also had a soft spot for reality television; Big Brother ranked high among his favorites. He had an appreciation for the humor of 80s and 90s comedy films, often quoting lines that would leave those around him in stitches.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered their support during Larry’s illness and passing—through calls, texts, visits, and kind words. A special thank you goes to the compassionate staff at UVA Hospital, Gentiva Hospice , and Priority Transport for their dedicated care.
