Charlotte Dodd

Charlotte Reed Dodd, 79, of Waynesboro, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Augusta Health. She was born in Rivervale, AR, on November 3, 1945, a daughter of the late Charles Willard and Donnie Reed.

Charlotte retired from McKee Bakery after working there from September 28, 1992 until October 30, 2008. She was a member of Waynesboro Free Methodist Church. In her spare time, she greatly enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, attending Bible school, and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dodd and sister, Sandy Reed.

Survivors include her children: Ronnie and wife, Angie VanDevander of Harrisonton, Jeff VanDevander of Staunton, and Viki Marhsall of Fishersville; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; siblings: Glenda Liski and husband, Chuck, Janice Stites, Clay Reed and wife, Anna, and Bill Reed and wife, Donna all of Michigan; best friend, Susie Brown of Michigan; as well as extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Waynesboro Free Methodist Church, 600 Hopeman Pkwy, Waynesboro, with Pastor Scott Brodd officiating.
