Lois Ann (Armstrong) Shiflett

Lois Ann (Armstrong) Shiflett, 74, of Crimora passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 at her residence.
    Ms. Shiflett was born on March 21, 1951 in Hyattsville, Maryland, a daughter of the late Marshall Armstrong and Julia (Ray) Armstrong.
    Lois was a member of the Staunton Seventh-day Adventist Church and was employed at Western State Hospital in housekeeping. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and crocheting.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Armstrong and his wife Linda.
    Surviving are two sons, Eric McManaway and his wife Amy of Staunton and Will McManaway and his wife Edna “Lynn” of Greenville; a brother, Rudy Armstrong and his wife Doris of West Augusta; a special friend, Eddie Grey; four grandchildren, Corey McManaway, Skyler Webb, Devon McManaway, and David Maxwell; and twelve great-grandchildren.
    A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in West Augusta Community Cemetery by Pastor Karl Leukert.
    The family would like to express a sincere “Thank You” to the Legacy Hospice for their devotion and care given to Ms. Shiflett during her illness.
    Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
