Elizabeth Belle (Strickler) Farmer
Elizabeth Belle (Strickler) Farmer, 86, widow of Paul Edward Farmer, of Staunton, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville.
Mrs. Farmer was born in Middlebrook on May 20, 1939, a daughter of the late Preston David Strickler and Lillie Mae (Kellison) Strickler.
Elizabeth was a faithful member of Verona Full Gospel Church and was also a Sunday School teacher. She was dedicated to her Lord and read her Bible faithfully. Elizabeth loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Edward Farmer and Paul Dennis Farmer; a sister, Lillie Hogsett; three brothers, Marvin Preston Strickler, Rev. Lee Roy Strickler, Sr., and Rev. William H. Strickler; and a granddaughter, Angel Dawn Hedrick.
Surviving, are two daughters, Sharon Meditz and her husband, Roy of Verona and Debra Spencer of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Crystal Hedrick, Robert Hedrick and his wife, Stephanie, Curtis Craig and his wife, Melissa, and Brian Craig and his wife, Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Raven Craig, Peyton Craig, Hailey Craig, Samantha Hedrick, and Lucy Hedrick; brother, Robert Strickler; sister, Emma Tew; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special friend, Grace Schultz.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 in the Verona Full Gospel Church by Pastor Peter Grimm, Pastor C.J. Carter, and Mr. Robert Hedrick.
Burial will follow Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Active pallbearers will be George Lambert, Timothy Strickler, Travis Kidd, Adam Terry, Pastor Larry Strickler, Curtis Craig, and Stacey Gilbert.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
