Paula Frances Neel Moyers

Paula Frances Neel Moyers, 82, of Bridgewater, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on August 20, 1942, in Welch, WV, and was a daughter of the late Carl and Pauline Neel.

Paula was a member of the Mount Crawford United Methodist Church and Mount Crawford Extension Homemakers. She graduated from Grundy High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Radford College. Paula was an English teacher and taught both full time and as a substitute at John Wayland Middle School, Turner Ashby High School, Harmon Elementary, and Grundy High School.

Paula was united in marriage to Lowell R. Moyers on December 19, 1964.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Leslie Burkholder & husband Nathan.

A service celebrating Paula's life will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Lantz Chapel of the Bridgewater Home with Pastor Steve Bird officiating.
