Patsy Pearl (Clifton) Byrd

Patsy Pearl (Clifton) Byrd, 83, widow of Charles Thomas Byrd, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. 
Mrs. Byrd was born in Fordwick, Virginia, on December 26, 1941, a daughter of the late Harvey Glenn Clifton and Stella Marie (Martin) Clifton.
Patsy retired from Augusta Health as a switchboard supervisor. She enjoyed reading her bible, singing hymns, doing crossword puzzles and cross stitch.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Hunter. 
Surviving, are two daughters, Donna B. Harrigan and her partner, Karen Claytor and Teresa A. Taylor and her husband, Scotty all of Greenville; a granddaughter and the apple of her eye, Jordan Kate Taylor; two brothers, Wade Clifton and his wife, Barbara of Verona and Glenn “Shorty” Clifton and his wife, Gail of Craigsville; two sisters, Phyllis Dinkle and her husband, Donald of Stuarts Draft and Sharron Daniels of Staunton; and a niece, Robin Knott. 
Per her request, there will be no services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
