Irvin Dale Zimmerman

Irvin Dale Zimmerman, 91, of Mount Solon, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

He was born on December 12, 1933, and was a son of the late Minor and Reada (Cook) Zimmerman.

Irvin owned and operated Stoney Bluff Farm in Mt. Solon, and had served in the Army.

Irvin was united in marriage to Peggy (Ritchie) Zimmerman, who preceded him in death.

Irvin is survived by a sister, Barbara Emmett; foster children, Larry Knott, and Levi Knott and wife, Teresa; foster grandchildren, Lee Knott and wife, Charity, Wendy Knott, and Jeremy Knott and wife, Cindy; adopted granddaughter, Lora Puffenbarger; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Zimmerman, and sisters, Phyllis Wampler, and Rhoene Johnson.

No formal services are scheduled at this time.
