Darlene Sue Williamson

Darlene Sue Williamson, 74, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

She was born on September 20, 1949, and was a daughter of Earl Click and Janet (Long) Hoover.

Darlene was united in marriage to Ward "Bob" Williamson, who preceded her in death.

Darlene is survived by two children, Bonnie (Brad) Offenbacker of Grottoes, Mark Long of Cumberland, MD; step-son, Woody (Stacy) Williamson of Falling Waters, WV; brother, Eugene Hoover of Harrisonburg; sister, Debbie Hartman of Harrisonburg; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Bill Sheppard; brothers, Donald Hoover, Frankie Hoover; sister, Pam Hoover.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

A service celebrating Darlene's life will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, May 16th at the funeral home, with Pastors Lori Valentine and Jim Kite officiating. Burial will follow at Sangerville Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
