Lisa Ann Rodgers

Lisa Ann Rodgers, 59, of Port Republic, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on November 19, 1964, and was a daughter of the late James and Julia (Sigers) Bruce.

Lisa loved crafts, and spending time with her dog, Bubba Beagle.

Lisa was united in marriage on Sept. 8, 1990 to Rolland Rodgers, who survives.

Lisa is survived by two children, Tabitha Dean and husband, John "JP", and Joshua Rodgers and wife, Shani; step-son, Rolland Rodgers, Jr. and wife, Aura; brothers, Kevin Spencer and wife, Robin, and Wendell Bruce and wife, Debbie; sisters, Kim Schimpf, Rebecca Sigrist and husband Chris, Betty Spencer and husband, Gene, and Devon Jernigan; aunt, Sherry Harris and husband, Timmy, and Terry Spencer and wife, Stacey; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, JoAnne Spencer; brother, James Bruce.

A graveside service celebrating Lisa's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Port Republic Cemetery, with Pastor Guy Hudson officiating.

The family has requested no flowers, however, memorial contributions may be made to the family to aid in funeral expenses, c/o Johnson Funeral Service, PO Box 41, Bridgewater, VA 22812, or on the funeral home website.
